This place is an all-around "amazing" establishment. Atmosphere, with the ornate decor and the dress "uniforms " for the staff, gives Buenos Diaz a fantastic ambiance. Waitstaff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. The food was terrific. Try the tamal. It was wonderful. While we were there for a "late" morning breakfast, the waiter highly recommended, post entree, the "cheesecake." We were convinced and tried it. I've had lots of cheesecake in my lifetime. This one at Buenos Diaz Cafeteria was just "ok". Just average. However, this does not detract from my very enthusiastic positive review of this breakfast at Buenos Diaz. Appreciated!

One of the best cafes to enjoy breakfast in CDMX. I come here every time I am in town. I loved the omelette de salmon (featured in photo). The ambience is perfection. Raul and Alfredo take care of me each time. You will love this place too!

Went at 11am on a Saturday, had to wait 20mins and it was worth it. Large menu that will have something for everyone and generous portions. We tried the enfrijoladas, tabien tamale and chilachiles porfix. Everything was great!

The food here is delicious and there is a nice variety. The atmosphere is clean, bright, welcoming, and beautifully decorated like a revolutionary Mexican restaurant. The staff are incredibly kind, especially Juan Carlos. I highly recommend the empanadas, flautas ahogadas, and fettuccine.

This is a cute cafe located inside the Hotel Geneve. Service is quick and the food is pretty good. The ambiance is truly lovely and Alfredo was a great server.

I am so impressed with the service I received both for breakfast and for lunch. The wait staff is so accommodating and welcoming. They have amazing recommendations and if you don't see what you are looking for, you can just ask and they take care of your request. The food was well seasoned and flavorful. I must mention how much I enjoyed Alfredo during lunch service. He has a friendly smile and he seems happy to tell you about the menu specials. He is delightful. Don't miss a visit to Buenos Diaz when you are in Mexico City.

Alfredo was awesome! Terrific food and wonderful hospitality. Wait until they bring the bill in these super cool little typewriters that are also music boxes. I loved the quotes on the wall but most of all the uniforms were classic! Check out the placemats too!
